Summary/Objective
The Marketing Director (MD) is responsible for planning, development and implementation of all of James D. Julia, Inc. marketing strategies, marketing communications, advertising, catalog production, digital and social media and public relations activities, both external and internal. The MD directs the efforts of the graphics and photography employees. We deal with highly specialized products, so all of these efforts need to be coordinated at the strategic and tactical levels with the other functions and departments of the company. The focus of this position is on achieving results which are aligned with the larger picture of the organization and our strategic goals.

The MD is responsible for all activities related to conceptualizing and implementing market strategy and achieving marketing target, as well as ensuring that these are completed within the critical path timeline. This position is critical to the impression that others have as to the professionalism, quality and integrity of James D. Julia, Inc.

Job Description
Job Purpose:
Serve as a team member with a cataloging specialist within our auction Departments creating detailed descriptions of rare, high end quality goods. Providing technical support via typing and research skills. Maintaining precise, consistent work output with accuracy while adhering to company policies & procedures and within the structure of the cataloging system.

Duties:
• Maintain friendly, helpful demeanor dealing with catalog specialist and co-workers.
• Be proficient with a variety of computer programs; i.e. excel, word, internet, etc.
• Knowledgeable in search engines
• Strong spelling and grammatical skills
• Detail and task oriented
• Methodical and precise in product output
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills
• Capable of disseminating information and directing specialist to required outcomes
• Develop and maintain technical knowledge of specific company policies and procedures
• Awareness and compliance with photography guidelines
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements:
• Must pass a background investigation and have no criminal convictions
• High school degree required
• Must be willing to work seasonal overtime to meet deadlines as necessary
• Experience using word processing, spreadsheets, database applications, email, the internet, Excel and Word, as well as an interest in learning new systems
• Comfortable with frequent interruptions
• Strong interpersonal and team skills
• Experience working as part of a team in a fast paced environment

Job Description
Job Purpose:
Serve as a team member within our auction team as a conduit for building and maintaining relationships with existing and potential clients. Providing detailed information and communication regarding company protocols and auction items in a friendly, professional manner. Maintaing a fast pace while focusing on details in an accurate, efficient and friendly manner within a clearly defined structure.
