CASED MAYNARD MODEL 1882 RIFLE SHOTGUN COMBINATION. Cal .22, 24” part oct bbl and .55 smooth bore, 26” part oct bbl with forearm. The tang sight has been replaced. The rear bbl sights have been removed from the rifle bbl and the front sight is broken. Only the smooth bore bbl matches the gun. The case homemade and appears to be oak. SN 3431. CONDITION: Rust brown patina overall with light pitting and signs of cleaning. Wood has many scratches and dents. Forearm is dinged and dented. Action is good. Case has numerous cracks on the top, leather handle is frayed. 4-9794 X73 (1,000-2,000)
