AMERICAN HEPPLEWHITE MAHOGANY CORNER STAND. Circa 1820. Probably eastern Massachusetts. Of triangular form, the two sides with shaped splashguard centering a candle shelf, with bowfront molded edges, raised on three square supports joining a conforming medial shelf with bowfront frieze with a central drawer flanked by drawers, above the lower shaped shelf. Raised on splayed frontal feet. SIZE: 45″ h x 18″ d x 26″ w. CONDITION: Professionally re-polished and tightened. Very good overall. 9-95277 (700-1,000)
