THREE GALLE FAIENCE PLATES. 1) Plate is decorated with a blue rooster at water trough against a white background. Plate carries inscription above rooster and trough and is finished with a pierced edge. Signed on the back “Gallé Nancy Editeur” as well as “St. Clement” and other indiscernible words. SIZE: 8-1/2” dia. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 2) Plate is decorated with cobalt blue design of parrot on tree branch with crown over head and wreath border against a bluish-cream background. Signed on the back “E. Gallé Nancy”. SIZE: 10-1/4” dia. CONDITION: Tight hairline at edge. 3) Same as No. 2, except with rearing unicorn instead of parrot. SIZE: 10-1/4” dia. CONDITION: Tiny fleabite to lip, otherwise very good to excellent. 5-63535 (700-1,000)
