*WINCHESTER MODEL 1886 LIGHTWEIGHT SPECIAL ORDER RIFLE. Cal. 33WCF. Standard grade rifle with 24” tapered, round, lightweight bbl, pedestal front sight with ivory bead, slot filler in the rear dovetail and the receiver is mounted with a Lyman model 21 long side sight. It has the rare 2/3rds magazine and factory sling eyes. The stock is a replacement with solid red recoil pad and both it and the forearm have amateur checkering. SN 130845. CONDITION: About very good. Bbl retains about 75% original blue, thin over the chamber area. The magazine tube retains about 95% original blue. The receiver retains about 60% strong original blue with the balance turned silver with very fine pitting on the left side. Wood is sound and retains most of its oil finish.
