WINCHESTER MODEL 1876 LEVER ACTION RIFLE.

WINCHESTER MODEL 1876 LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 45-60. Standard grade rifle with 22” oct bbl, full magazine, uncheckered wood, straight stock and crescent steel butt plate with trap. SN 51106. CONDITION: Fair. Bbl has been cut to its current length and the stock shortened to 12”. The front sight has a repalcement blade and bbl sight has been replaced with a Beech’s articulated globe sight, missing the inside pin. The dust cover is also missing. The metal retains no orginal finish and the wood retains most of a sanded amateur re-finish with a crack at the heel. Strong dark bore with moderate pitting. 4-49354 (1,000-1,200)
