ORIGINAL CABINET PHOTOGRAPH AND POEM BY CAPTAIN JACK CRAWFORD. The cabinet photo shows Capt. Jack standing by a carriage with three other people at a race track in Asheville, N.C. The poem is dedicated to “THE PHOTOGRAPHER” and takes a whole sheet of paper. It is autographed with his real name and “Capt. Jack” and dated January 23, 1915. A copy of another photo shows Capt. Jack holding a Colt lightning rifle which he used in exhibitions. CONDITION: Scuff on the edge of the cabinet photo, not affecting the image.
