PAUL CORNOYER (American, 1864-1923) PARIS STREET SCENE. Oil on canvas sketch shows what appears to be a Paris bus stop with tall building behind. Signed lower right “Sketch by Paul Cornoyer”. Lower left titled “Paris”. Cornoyer visited France from 1889-1894 and this is probably from this period. Housed in an antique gesso decorated gilt frame. SIZE: 8-1/2” x 6-1/2”. CONDITION: Relined, restretched, inpainting around inscription and signature. Good. 9-98981 (2,500-3,500)
