DAUM CAMEO & ENAMEL VASE. Spectacular large Daum vase has cameo flowers on thorny stems encircling the vase. The flowers are beautifully enameled in shades of reddish-brown and highlighted with gold gilt. A cameo and enameled butterfly hovers near one of the flowers. The flowers and butterfly are set against an internally decorated background of frosted glass with internal swirls of reddish-brown color. Signed on the underside “Daum Nancy” with the Cross of Lorraine and “2431”. SIZE: 7-3/4” t x 10” dia. CONDITION: Foot appears to have been ground, otherwise very good to excellent. 5-63070 (8,000-10,000)
