*SMITH & WESSON U.S.M..03 VICTORY MODEL REVOLVER. Cal. 38 Special. Parkerized finish, 4” bbl, smooth walnut grips with a lanyard loop in the butt. Top strap is marked “U.S. NAVY” and the left side of the frame is engraved “PROPERTY OF/USMC”. This revolver was part of a Navy contract and delivered to Norfork, VA. The “USMC” marking can not be verified. SN V164129. CONDITION: Very fine, all matching including the grips, retains 97-98% gray parkerizing with fine edge wear and some surface rust spotting on the frame, sideplate and bbl. Grips are very fine also retaining most of their original finish with some bruising on the right side. Brilliant shiny bore, good mechanics. 4-48217 JR269 (Anderson Collection) (500-1,000)
