NEW ENGLAND SHERATON MAHOGANY DROP LEAF TABLE. Circa 1840. The rectangular top with conforming hinged leaves, projecting above the straight frieze with molded edge, raised on ring-turned and blocked cylindrical legs, terminating in reeded, brass-capped casters. SIZE: 30″h x 19-1/2″w x 54″l (closed). 58″ x 54″ (open). PROVENANCE: From a fine Beacon Hill, Boston, MA & Thomaston, ME estate. CONDITION: Table has been scrubbed down and lightly refinished. Needs professional cleaning and repolishing. Structurally very good. 9-93626 (800-1,200)
