*SIMSON & CO. LUGER. Cal. 9 mm. Usual configuration, 4” bbl, blue finish, full checkered wood grips with blue body, wood base magazine bearing the serial number 1607k. The toggle link is marked, “Simson & Co/Suhl” and there are numerous eagle-6 proofs on the various parts. SN 8066. CONDITION: Fine to very fine, all matching, including the grips, the magazine as noted. Bbl and receiver retain 93-95% original blue with muzzle and bbl wear and thinned edges. Bolt, toggle and toggle link retain about 95% original blue. Frame retains 92-94% original blue thinning on the front and back straps. Overall the various pieces retain 60-70 % straw colors.
