HANDEL REVERSE PAINTED PARROT LAMP. Outstanding Handel shade has two brightly colored parrots perched on limbs with flowers and leaves encircling them and the rest of the shade. Backside of shade has a beautiful butterfly with orange, blue and purple wings hovering above a flower. All of the flora and fauna are set against a beautiful blue background. Shade rests atop a simple enameled base with three-light cluster. Shade is signed “Handel 7023” as well as artist signed “Bedigie”. Base is marked on the underside with cloth Handel tag. SIZE: Shade is 18” dia. Overall height is 23”. CONDITION: Enamel on base and shade ring shows signs of chipping, otherwise very good to excellent. 5-63039 (8,000-10,000)
