*EARLY “S” CODE KRIEGHOFF LUGER. Cal. 9mm. Fine early Krieghoff with 4” bbl, and checkered brown plastic grips. Chamber has the “S” marking with the toggle link having the usual HK and anchor over Krieghoff/Suhl. Matching numbered Krieghoff marked aluminum base magazine with Haenel Schmeisser patent markings on right side along with an eagle “L” proof. SN 3140. CONDITION: Extremely fine retaining 95-96% strong original blue with light muzzle and edge wear. Overall retains 80% bright straw colors. All matching except the lock bolt, hold open, firing pin and grips which are unnumbered. Firing pin has the Krieghoff eagle proof with a “2”. Grips are extremely fine with only light diamond point wear. Magazine catch retains about 95% of its bright niter blue. Strong bright bore with fine pitting. 4-48675 JR500 (3,000-5,000)
