*1900 AMERICAN EAGLE LUGER WITH IDEAL GRIPS AND SHOULDER STOCK. Cal. 30 Luger. 4-3/4” tapered round bbl, American eagle over chamber with Germany stamped below serial number on front of frame. Grips are smooth walnut with an unnumbered wood base commercial magazine. Stock is typical leather and blued steel marked “Patents Pending”. Magazine has stainless steel body with wood base secured with a single blued steel pin and stamped with a tiny flaming bomb on the bottom. SN 19157. CONDITION: Extremely fine, all matching except the grips which are unnumbered. Overall it retains 96-97% strong original blue with fine muzzle and edge wear. Retains 50-60% straw colors on various parts. Brilliant shiny bore with one small area of pitting. Stock is fine with the metal retaining about 75% strong original blue. Leather has a slightly crackled finish but is complete and intact showing only light wear. Grips are sound showing light wear with some light scratches on left side. 4-48671 JR501 (3,000-5,000)
