BRITISH MILITARY DRESS BELT. The red leather belt having a decorative gold brocade front with attached rectangular, slightly curved brass buckle adorned with a silvered Royal type crest with intertwined initials and crown flanked by oak leaves over a banner “Dieu et mon droit”. Brass loop at end and clip ring for dress sword present. SIZE: Buckle is 2-1/2″ h x 3-1/2″ w. Total is 34-1/2″ long. PROVENANCE: From a private Rangeley, Maine home. CONDITION: Buckle is very good with nice patina, the belt with some light fraying to material, leather is supple and intact. 9-94997 (100-200)
