GOOD COASTAL NEW ENGLAND SHERATON MAHOGANY AND MAHOGANY VENEERED TWO PART SECRETARY. The upper case with molded cornice over a pair of astragal glazed doors. The interior fitted with a shelf having two drawers beneath fitted to the lower section with slanted hinged fold-out writing surface opening to an interior of three drawers, the case flanked by turned columns ending in ball-turned feet, centering three long cross-banded drawers. Circa 1825. SIZE: H 79”, W 43”, D 18”. CONDITION: Overall very fine condition, professionally cleaned and restored with original brass hardware. One pane of glass in cracked upper right-hand door facing. Good figured graining. 9-91873 (2,000-3,000)
