LC SMITH 0 GRADE DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN. Cal. 10 ga. Good old field grade damascus double with 30” bbls having a tapered matted rib with the makers name at the breech end. The receiver and lockplates are undecorated except for the maker’s name on each side. It has double triggers and extractors. Wood is straight grain American walnut with splinter forearm that has patented push button release. The stock is semi pistol grip 14-1/4” over a black hard rubber buttplate. SN 340335. CONDITION: Good to very good, bbls retain 20-25% damascus pattern with heavy pitting on the muzzle end. The receiver is reblued with moderate to heavy pitting and the lockplates are polished bright with moderate to heavy pitting. Wood is sound, dark and oil stained at the wrist and forearm, showing heavy wear with the stock retaining 60% original varnish. The bores are dark and heavily pitted. 4-49059 JR126 (400-700)
