CARL FREDERICK FRIESEKE (American, 1874-1939) STILL LIFE OF VASE OF FLOWERS. Oil on canvas still life shows tall red vase supporting a large bouquet of white, pink and red flowers. Next to the vase is an Italian type handled bowl, both resting on a brown tabletop with blue background. Signed lower right “F. C. Frieseke” and dated “31”. Housed in its original decorated wood molded frame. Provenance: This was purchased from the storage auction of the estate of Lawton Parker (noted artist) 20-30 years ago. SIZE: 27” x 23”. CONDITION: Very good. Inconsistent varnish application. 9-93387 (10,000-15,000)
