*LC SMITH PREMIER SKEET GRADE DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. Featherweight double with 28” bbls choked IMP-CYL/CYL. It has high tapered matted solid rib with double ivory beads. Receiver is case colored with a flying pigeon on the left lockplate and floral arabesque on the right. It is equipped with LC Smith One Trigger and ejectors. It has a replacement straight grip stock, 14-1/8” over a checkered buttplate and an original beavertail forearm. Both are highly figured American walnut. SN FWS54097. CONDITION: Very fine, bbls retain 96-97% strong bright original blue. The receiver and lockplates retain 85-90% original case colors thinning and faded on the bottom, brilliant in sheltered areas. Wood was refinished without removing it from the gun and old varnish is over the edges of the metal. The stock has a hairline in the back of each lockplate and several small chips around the receiver, otherwise the wood is sound and retains about all of this recent refinish. Mechanics are fine, bright shiny bores. 4-49221 (2,000-3,000)
