FOLK ART PAINTED AND CARVED WOOD CHICKEN WEATHERVANE. Three dimensional fully sculptured chicken stands on a wood ball resting on a long wood and sheet metal arrow. Chicken has a white and green body with red tail. Ball is painted green and the arrow a light blue. SIZE: Weathervane with ball is 16″; Chicken is 17-1/2″ l; Arrow is 60″ l. PROVENANCE: Originally purchased from a Stowe, VT area egg farm. CONDITION: Some wear to paint, some cracking at lamination, cracks in ball. Otherwise very good. 9-91571 (2,000-4,000)
