TWO EARLY LIGHTING DEVICES. Interesting lot of two early lighting devices consists of: 1) One birdcage candlestick base. The base originally had a candle holder that slid up and down on the vertical wire teeth. The candle holder is no longer with the base. 2) Alpine candle holder with spring-loaded mechanism which will adjust to hold various sized candles. The hand-forged metal holder is mounted on a wooden block and is fitted with a forged iron hook on the back. SIZE: Birdcage 7″ h. Alpine 9″ h.
