CASED REMINGTON MODEL 1871 SINGLE SHOT MARTIAL PISTOL. Cal .50. 8” round bbl. “CRS” cartouche on left side of grip. Standard two line marking on left side of frame with proof marks. Bbl has been reamed smooth. The case is modern and contains 20 modern cartridges and an iron cleaning rod. NSN. CONDITION: Gray brown patina on bbl with scattered light pitting. Traces of casehardening on the right side of the action mostly gray patina with light to moderate pitting. Wood is worn smooth at bottom with oil stains at front. Action is good.
