REMINGTON MODEL 1871 ROLLING BLOCK SINGLE SHOT ARMY PISTOL. Cal .50CF. Usual configuration with 8” round bbl, pinched blade front sight, tiny forearm and 1-pc walnut grips. There are proof marks on the side of the frame and the grip has a fine cartouche. SN 3432. CONDITION: Extremely fine, all matching, bbl retains 95-97% strong original blue with light muzzle wear and some minor thinning. The frame and trigger guard retain most of its original case coloring, strong and bright on the frame, faded on the backstrap and outside of the trigger guard. The grips are extremely fine with minor handling and use marks and have crisp cartouche with most of the original varnish. Crisp mechanics and brilliant shiny bore. 4-49861 JR496 (1,000-1,500)
