G CHRISTIAN ENSLEN (French, 18th Century) PAIR OF ANCESTRAL PORTRAITS. Fine oil on canvas half portraits of a gentleman and a woman. The gentleman wears a light rose colored jacket with gold buttons and a flower decorated golf vest. The woman with a green lace edge dress with white and pink ribbons. She wears a gem studded cross necklace with matching earring. Housed in matching gilt carved wood frames which are replacements. SIZE: 20-1/2″ x 15″. CONDITION: Relined on new stretchers, some inpainting, very good. 9-95447 (4,000-6,000)
