OUTSTANDING FIVE PIECE BRASS FIREPLACE SET ATTRIBUTED TO R. WHITTINGHAM, NEW YORK. Fine brass set includes tall pair of andirons with pierced brass gallery, matching log stops, faceted and urn shaped front. Matching tongs and shovel and matching serpentine front wire fireplace fender with three finials. This is as fine a set as you will find. Reference page 74 “The Brass Book” by Schiffer.
