LARGE MASONIC LIVERPOOL PITCHER. This large masonic Liverpool picture decorated with three panels, one side decorated with masonic symbols “memen to mori”, then beneath the spout, various masonic symbols “holiness to the Lord”. The back panel, with the masonic eye and “The world is in pain, our secrets to gain but still let them wonder and gaze on for they neer can divine the world nor the sign of a free and an excepted mason”. SIZE: 11-1/4″ h. CONDITION: Outstanding. The transfers are generally strong and the picture is un-restored. There is a small separation at the base of the spout that is a separation line that took place in the kiln (this is a separation that happened during the making and not a crack – it does not go through the pitcher). 9-92293 (1.750 – 2,750)
