18TH/EARLY 19TH CENTURY PRIMITIVE WOODEN NEW ENGLAND APPLE PEELER. Device in original old Windsor blue paint. Wooden device with pierce apple holder was original connected to a larger wheel creating a pulling which would rotate the apple while it was peeled. SIZE: 28” l x 6” w. CONDITION: Paint worn in places but original, small wooden wedge missing. As found in an early central Maine shed. 9-71882 (650-950)
