SMITH & WESSON SECOND MODEL SCHOFIELD REVOLVER. Cal 45 S&W. martially marked with 7” keyhole bbl, half moon front sight with 2-pc walnut grips. There is a “US” on the butt and tiny inspector initials in the proper places. SN 5488. CONDITION: Good, retains about all of a fine professionally restored finish including case colors on the latches, hammer and trigger guard. The grips are modern replacements. The bore is worn with fine pitting, timing needs adjusting. 4-49690 JR492 (1,000-1,500)
