GASPAR MIRO LLEO (French, 1859-1930) “PARK ST. MARTIN”. This small, wonderful oil on panel depicting Park St. Martin with an image of old Paris in late 19th Century. Innumerable horse-drawn carriages and figures line the street in this early winter scene. Signed in lower right, “G. Miro”, and framed in an old, simple gold gesso frame. SIZE: 7-1/2” h x 9-3/8” w.
