ANTIQUE CLOCKWORK MECHANICAL SANTA FIGURE Santa dressed in typical red and white overcoat with black pants and boots, glass eyes and fitted with a long cotton beard. The head on a pendulum-like device that was originally hooked up to a clockwork mechanism in the belly. When wound, the mechanism would make the head continually ‘bob’. Circa early 20th century. SIZE: 34″ h. CONDITION: Slight soiling to costume, wear on the boots. I do not believe the mechanism works but we son not have a key to wind it. A great look. 1-640 (450-650)
