LARGE CLOCK/MAN FIGURE AUTOMATON. This peculiar gentleman looks as if he could be an extra in Alice in Wonderland, but possibly a decoration for a large department store. Mounted on a large wooden box. When plugged in clock man flags his arms up and down on either side. He has a clock built in his belly and allover costume. SIZE: Approx. 7’9″ t. It is difficult to determine what the condition is of the mechanism on the clock man and whether it should do more. A very neat albeit unusual piece. 1-27672 (1,500-2,500)
