MODIFIED MODEL 1812 HARPER’S FERRY FLINTLOCK MUSKET W/OHIO SURCHARGE. Cal. 69. 39” bbl, dated 1816 on the tail of the lockplate, “OHIO” stamped on bbl in front of proof mark. Issue number “29” is stamped on the sideplate. The middle bbl band retainer is missing. The ramrod and stock have been shortened to match the shortened bbl. NSN CONDITION: Rust-brown patina overall. Stock was shattered at the wrist and repaired using screws. The lock appears to be original flintlock although the hammer screw has been replaced. The bbl has been reconverted. and the touch hole is considerably above pan level. 4-48828 FS182 (1,000-2,000)
