FINE PAIR OF ENGLISH WAX SILHOUETTES. One titled “Spring” and the other titled “Dance”. Spring shows young girl playing flute and standing amongst grass with birds overhead. Kate Greenway type figure. It is marked with a typed label “Spring (Bought by Queen Mary)”. Dance shows two girls dancing arm in arm, one holds red flower and the other has red flowers on hat. Nicely housed in black painted shadowbox type frames. PROVENANCE: From a fine Camden, Maine home. SIGHT SIZE: 5-1/2” x 3-1/2”. CONDITION: Silhouettes are intact but have cracks in wax.
