CLASSICAL CARVED MAHOGANY SERPENTINE FRONT CARD TABLE. Probably Salem, Mass., Samuel McIntire Shop, circa 1820. Hinged fold over top with bowed center section and turret corners above a mahogany veneered apron. Acanthus leaf carving with tapering reeded legs ending in a ring turned pointed foot. Top edge is reeded, swing out back leg receives fold over top. At top of front legs is carved leaf design with background having punched rosettes. Nice old finish. Heavy quality mahogany. SIZE: 29-1/2” h x 37” w x 17-1/2” d. CONDITION: Some old repair, good. 9-95043 (2,000-3,000)
