CASED GASTINNE RENETTE BREECH-LOADING TARGET PISTOL. SN 3697. Cal. .46, 10-1/8” multi-faceted and fluted bbl. All metal parts are finely engraved with a gold inlaid 9-point crown over a shield with the Turkish national arms on the trigger guard. The mahogany case has the same arms inlaid in a fancy shield on the lid. The interior is lined with blue velvet and has recessed compartments for the gun, bullet mold, powder measure, screwdriver, cleaning rod, oil can and two screw-top wooden boxes. The screwdriver is missing from its compartment. CONDITION: Excellent with slight edge wear to the blue on the bbl. Brilliant case hardening on the lock, hammer and buttplate. Bore and action are excellent. The powder measure has light rust stains. The bullet mold is bright. A small piece of the interior wood lining is missing below the butt of the gun. The exterior of the case has minor scratches. 4-48767 FS10 (4,000-6,000)
