ATTRIBUTED TO TIFFANY LEADED LANTERN. Wonderful hexagon shaped leaded lantern has geometric panels on all six sides with mauve colored diamond shaped center surrounded by beautifully mottled amber and cream colored glass. Top trim panel has center opalescent bullseye surrounded by the nicely mottled cream colored glass. Each panel is separated at the corner by a bronze ball chain with a larger ball hanging just below the bottom edge of the lantern. Top of the lantern is finished with a goose neck arm at each corner ending in a lily shade holder with three of the six lily shades present. Shades are green pulled feather design against an opaly-white background and each shade is signed “L.C.T.”. The leading on the glass panels is lead cane rather than copper foil. SIZE: Overall 18″ t x 16″ across at the widest. CONDITION: Glass has some tight hairlines, the metal appears to be weathered and there is some missing lead on one panel apparently caused by rodents. 5-66307 (20,000-30,000)
