EARLY AMERICAN MAPLE AND BIRCH HIGH CHAIR IN RED PAINT. The canted rear stiles with conical finials joined by two slats, joined to cylindrical swelled arms on turned supports, centering a trapezoidal woven splint seat above a plank foot rest. The supports, continuing to legs, joined by a box stretcher on tapered feet. SIZE: 34-1/2″ h. of back. CONDITION: Of nice form, good color with original paint, no restorations noticed. 9-92589 (400-600)
