FINE DELAWARE RIVER VALLEY QUEEN ANNE CHERRY BONNET TOP HIGHBOY. Circa 1770. Molded cornice with swan’s neck pediment centering three urn and spire finials on plinths above the upper case of central fan-carved drawer flanked by short drawers over four graduated long drawers with molded edges fitted to the waisted lower case of one long drawer over three aligned short drawers. Center being fan carved above an arcaded apron raised on slender angular cabriole legs with sharply scalloped returns on circular pad feet. SIZE: 83-1/2″ h x case 36″ w; 39-1/2″ overall w x 19-1/2″ d. CONDITION: Overall very fine. Professionally refinished at some point and retains a nice polished surface. Retains original finials. Antique brass hardware but not original to piece. Original backboards, Legs, feet and returns are all in original condition on lower case with no issues or repairs noted. All drawer bottoms, apart from some minor repairs, appear original. 9-91500 (15,000-25,000)
