MARTIALLY MARKED SMITH & WESSON #3 SCHOFIELD 1ST MODEL REVOLVER. Cal. 45 Schofield. Blued finish, 7” keyhole ribbed bbl, usual markings on both sides of the ejector housing, bottom of the butt is marked “US” and there are “L” and “P” inspector marks on various pieces of the revolver. SN 1302. CONDITION: Fine as refinished. Retains about all of its refinished blue with scattered light rust on the bbl. Trigger guard, hammer and locking block retain generous amounts of the refinished case colors. All matching including the grips which are fine with tiny chips at the toes having a fine hand patina.
