TIFFANY STUDIOS (ATTRIBUTED) WINDOW. Spectacular Tiffany window features center mother and child framed between two columns with water, mountain and sky in background. Mother is standing next to a pot of red flowers with a bowl on legs holding a fire on the other side. Woman’s face is beautifully painted and plated with clear glass with an amber tint. Baby is beautifully done and painted and plated with a wispy, almost opalescent glass giving the baby a veiled effect. Entire center portion of the window is plated giving great depth and three-dimensional effect to the window. Section below step on which woman stands has panel of glass angling backward and a second section angling forward giving greater three-dimensional effect to window. SIZE: 32” x 72”, not including frame. CONDITION: A few tight hairlines in panels, otherwise very good to excellent. Angled section near bottom of window appears to be part of design, but we can not discern for certain that it is not settling. 5-63385 (50,000-100,000)
