HEAVILY CARVED EMPIRE SOFA ATTRIBUTED TO THE MCINTYRE WORKSHOP. Sofa has a back crest with basket of fruit, leaf and gadrooned carved scrolls having trailing grapevine and grape cluster carving with a star punched background. Original black upholstery. Scroll arms with a carved rosette type end. Carved skirt with outstretching Duncan Phyfe style legs ending in cast brass paw feet with casters. SIZE: 38” h x 82” l x 25” d.
