ENGRAVED SMITH & WESSON SINGLE ACTION 3RD MODEL REVOLVER. Cal. 38 S&W. Silver finish, 4” keyhole ribbed bbl marked “MODEL 91” with round butt, 2-pc medallion pearl grips. Modern engraved in New York style of foliate arabesque patterns with punch dot background, blued trigger guard. SN 7137. CONDITION: Very fine, all matching except the grips which are unnumbered. Retains most of its fine custom silver plate with a scrape on the cylinder. Hammer retains about 95% case colors, and the trigger guard about 40% colors. Grips are extremely fine. Bore is brilliant and shiny with a few spots of rust. Fine mechanics. 4-48102 JR186 (Anderson Collection) (400-700)
