FINE TWO PART QUEEN ANNE CHERRY LINEN PRESS. Western Connecticut or New York origin, mid-18th Century having an old surface. Bottom section with four graduated drawers with thumb molded edges with replaced bale brasses. Bracket base with gadrooned molding. Top section having two doors with shaped chamfered edge panels with wide moldings open to reveal two shelves. Large cornice molding. Nice old dark finish. SIZE: 73-3/4″ h; bottom case is 45-1/4″ w x 18″ d; top case is 42-3/4″ w x 16-3/4″ d. CONDITION: Restoration to base, otherwise very good. 9-94333 (5,000-8,000)
