FRAMED MICRO MOSAIC TILE OF THE BRIDGE OF SIGHS. 20th Century. Rectangular scene shows a bridge over a Venetian waterway with gondola. Colors of green, blue, white and brown. The micro mosaic picture is encased in a metal form. REFERENCE: The Bridge of Sighs, located in Venice, Italy, received its name in the 17th Century because prisoners passed through it before they were incarcerated. Housed in a fine molded wood stained frame. SIZE: 5-1/2” x 3-1/2”. CONDITION: Very good. 9-26171 (800-1,200)
