CATTLE BRAND ENGRAVED REMINGTON OVER/UNDER DERINGER. Cal. 41RF. Usual configuration with 3” superposed bbls, blued bbls with gold-plated frame and checkered hard rubber grips. Full coverage Texas cattle brand engraving, apparently by Cole Agee. Back strap has the inscription, “PRESENTED TO DR. WENDELL A. MORGAN / FROM HUGH J. FITZGERALD / AUSTIN, TEXAS 1957”. Bbl hinge is broken on both sides and the bbls are loose. SN 273. CONDITION: Hinge as noted, the bbls retain most of their custom blue and the frame about 95%gold plating with sharp edge wear, a spot of rust on the butt with the plating thin on the butt.
