TIFFANY POINSETTIA TABLE LAMP. A truly outstanding Tiffany poinsettia shade has wonderfully mottled dichroic background glass surrounding finely executed poinsettias in rich deep reds, mottled pinks and purples. The border panel at the top shade ring and just below the poinsettia band is done in a nice contrasting mottled seafoam green. The deep red glass in the poinsettias is either very thick glass or plated in order to give the deep intensity of color. The shade sets atop a wonderful base, which rests atop four ball feet. The bulbous bottom of the base has a stylized leaf design while the stem is decorated with applied bronze wires ending in pigtail curls. The base supports a three socket cluster as well a three arm shade spider. The shade is marked “Tiffany Studios New York 1558”. The base is marked “Tiffany Studios New York” along with the Tiffany Glass & Decorating logo and “21363”. The font is marked “Tiffany Studios New York” with the Tiffany Glass & Decorating Co. logo and “21363”. SIZE: Shade is 18” dia. Overall height is approx. 26-1/2”. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent, with very few if any tight hairlines. The base is very good to excellent, has been rewired with old style cloth cord. 5-71805 (45,000-55,000)
