FINE CARVED AND PAINTED CAROUSEL HORSE. The outside row “Flying Horse” is shown with all legs up, turned head and fabulously carved mane, head and tail. The old park paint surface is very colorful and shows a light brown horse with white mane and tail. A green, blue and orange blanket with brown and orange trimmed saddle. There is a large grape cluster carving on hind quarters. Glass jewel decoration on bridle, blanket and front. Comes complete with a rugged display stand. 19th – 20th Century. PROVENANCE: From a Southern New Hampshire home. SIZE: Without stand – approx. 36” high x 60” long. On stand – 51” high. CONDITION: Very good, only minor defects. 9-72767 (6,000-9,000)
