GOOD ANTIQUE LYRE BASE MAHOGANY CARD TABLE. Duncan Phyfe style, circa 1820. D-shaped top with molded edge and ogee style frieze supported by a lyre formed pedestal with applied leaf and scroll carving and nice flame mahogany veneer. The shaped square base supported by four S-shaped scroll carved legs ending in cast brass paw caster feet. PROVENANCE: From an eastern Connecticut Estate. SIZE: 29” h x 36” w x 18” d (closed); 36” d (open). CONDITION: Some veneer damage to base, frieze edge bead missing two pieces, refinished with burn gouge at edge of top.
