CONSECUTIVE NUMBERED PAIR OF NEW MODEL #3 AUSTRALIAN MODEL REVOLVERS W/STOCKS & ACCESSORIES. Cal. 44 Russian. Nickel finish, 7” keyhole ribbed bbl, 2-pc monogrammed hard rubber grips with the grip frame factory cut for shoulder stock. The Australian Colonial Police broad arrow acceptance mark on the butt. Each is accompanied by its matching numbered stock, also with broad arrow mark, original leather holsters, leather stock case and original green cloth covered cardboard boxes with orange label for the butt stocks. 1) SN 12299. CONDITION: Good. Revolver retains 96-97% of an old renickel with some scattered light pitting, heavy in one spot on the cylinder. All matching except the grips which are unnumbered. Grips are sound showing moderate wear with right side turning chocolate. Bore is dark with good rifling and moderate pitting. Good mechanics. Buttstock iron has been cleaned and retains traces of original nickel, wood is sound with a large bruise and small nicks and retains most of an old refinish. Buttplate has a tiny chip on the toe. 2) SN 12300. CONDITION: Very fine. Retains about 90% strong original nickel with the balance silver metal color. There are a couple spots of rust on the left side of the frame. All matching except the grips which are unnumbered. Grips show light to moderate wear with the right side turning chocolate. Strong bright bore with a couple of spots of rust, fine mechanics. Buttstock is near new with the metal retaining most of its original nickel and finish on the wood. Buttplate is fine. Holsters and stock carriers are all original with one holster being very fine and the other quite worn with a hole on the backside. Stock carriers are fine, original and complete, without straps. Stock boxes are extremely fine with only fuzzed corners and a couple of blown corners.
